Tristan Stubbs started his domestic career in January 2020 with Eastern Province in the CSA 3-Day Provincial Cup. He scored 47 runs from 93 balls in his first-class debut. Later that year, he played for Eastern Province in the CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge, marking his List A debut. In February 2021, he played his first T20 match for Warriors in the CSA T20 Challenge.
For the 2021-2022 season, Stubbs joined Eastern Province and became the second-highest run scorer in the CSA T20 Challenge 2021-2022 with 293 runs in 7 innings.
