Domestic career

Ben Dwarshuis is a left-arm medium bowler and lower-order batsman known for his skills in T20 cricket. He started his career with New South Wales in the 2016-17 season, though injuries delayed his first-class debut. Before that, he made his Big Bash League debut in 2014 with the Sydney Sixers, where he quickly became a regular player and contributed to the team’s success with 13 wickets in his first season. Despite facing injury setbacks, Dwarshuis remained a key player for both the Sixers and New South Wales.

In 2021, Dwarshuis signed with Worcestershire County Cricket Club for the T20 Blast, where he helped the team win the title. He made his first-class debut for New South Wales in October 2022. Although he earned a national call-up during the same season for the Trans-Tasman Tri-Series, he didn’t get a chance to play in the starting eleven. In December 2024, he re-signed with Worcestershire for the 2025 T20 Blast. Additionally, Dwarshuis will play for Islamabad United in the 2025 PSL.
