‌The all-important final between India and Pakistan has begun with Pakistan being put into bat at the Dubai International Stadium. Though the Men in Green started the innings in a strong position at the halfway stage, with the score reading 87/1 the Indian bowlers managed to make a comeback in the second half. While it seemed like they might get to decent score at one stage, the Indian spinners spoiled the hopes and started to take wickets at regular intervals. However apart from the bowlers, the Men in Blue’s catching has been top notch as well. 

One of the best catches in the game was taken by Sanju Samson in the 17th over, which was bowled by Kuldeep Yadav. This was the over that triggered the collapse of the Green Shirts, which started with a wicket of Pakistan skipper Salman Agha. This was an opportunity for the batting all rounder to finally make an impact in a tournament where he has struggled to score runs. Agha in an attempt to sweep a nicely flighted delivery by Kuldeep ended up top edging the ball only to be caught by Samson who called for the catch and despite misjudging it at first ended up completing the take with a two-handed dive. 

Samson ends Salman Agha’s miserable Asia Cup campaign.
