Big Bash League | Chris Lynn signs deal to stay with Adelaide Strikers for another season

Chris Lynn will continue playing for the Adelaide Strikers in the upcoming Big Bash League after signing a one-year contract with them. The 35-year-old batter has accumulated 950 runs from 25 games, across three seasons for the Adelaide-based unit, at an average of 43.18 and a strike rate of 153.47.

"I'm really looking forward to getting back to Adelaide Oval and helping the team go deep into finals this year," he said. "We've got an exciting squad this season and I can't wait to see what we can produce when we take to the field."
The 35-year-old is also BBL’s top run-getter with a tally of 3955 runs in 125 innings at an average of 36.28 and a strike rate of 149.92, with a century and 31 fifties. Lynn was last seen in action for Hampshire in the Men’s T20 Blast where he scored a destructive 51-ball 108, including 11 sixes, to power his side into the summit clash of the 2025 edition.
Strikers coach Tim Paine was excited to have Lynn back after prioritising his re-signing for the current season.
"We're thrilled to have Chris returning to the Strikers as we strive for a deep finals campaign," he said. "While his batting exploits speak for themselves, his experience and leadership are equally invaluable to our emerging players within the squad."
