The Philadelphia Eagles secured a dominant 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, avenging their 2023 loss. At the grand stage of Super Bowl LIX, football legend Lionel Messi attended the event alongside his Inter Miami teammates Jordi Alba, Luis Suárez, and Sergio Busquets. The former Barcelona stars reunited at Caesar’s Superdome in New Orleans, where Messi was spotted in a cream-colored sweatshirt, matching sweatpants, and Adidas sneakers.

The star-studded event also saw Ballon d’Or winner Rodri among the attendees. The highlight of the Super Bowl was the Philadelphia Eagles’ emphatic 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, denying the defending champions a historic three-peat. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was named Super Bowl MVP for his outstanding performance.

This was Kansas City’s third consecutive Super Bowl appearance, having previously secured back-to-back titles in 2023 and 2024. For the Eagles, this victory marked their second Super Bowl win, with their first triumph coming in 2018. The highly anticipated rematch saw them avenge their narrow 38-35 loss to the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII.

With just under three minutes remaining in the game, head coach Nick Sirianni was drenched in a celebratory Gatorade shower. Messi and his teammates enjoyed prime seats at the event, soaking in the thrilling atmosphere of one of the biggest sporting spectacles in the world.
