Celebrations are meant to be memorable, but often become hilarious when something goes wrong. It was a blooper moment, quite often seen in football celebrations, as Ubaid Shah’s high-five crashed through the defense of Usman Khan, hitting him on his head during the MS vs LQ match in PSL 2025.

‌Multan Sultans finally had something to cheer for on Tuesday, notching up their first points in PSL 2025 with a 33-run win over Lahore Qalandars in a high-scoring thriller at home. Yasir Khan top-scored in the contest with a 44-ball 87 while Iftikhar Ahmed’s unbeaten cameo of 40 helped Multan to 228/5. Lahore’s chase stopped at 195/9 even though Sikandar Raza scored an unbeaten half-century. Ubaid Shah was the pick among the Multan bowlers with a spell of 3/37. After an excellent start, the Multan bowlers went through some tense moments with Billings and Raza adding some valuable runs in the middle. The pair had already added 38 off 21 balls for the sixth wicket when something hilarious happened giving respite to the fans and viewers from the high-octane happenings in the middle.

Ubaid Shah delivered the last ball of the 15th over to Billings with the equation set at 80 from 31 balls. Billings, in search of a boundary, tried to go big but got caught at covers by Kamran Ghulam. What happened after that left the viewers in stitches. The 19-year-old pacer was visibly excited at having caught the big fish and was a tad too exuberant in his celebrations. While exchanging high-fives with wicketkeeper Usman Khan, Ubaid went straight between the latter’s hand, hitting his forehand. Even the keeper’s gloves could not save him as the visuals resembled those of an action sequence. The keeper fell flat on the ground as teammates ran in to celebrate the dismissal.

LOL!!!
