Neymar expressed disappointment over former Al-Hilal coach Jorge Jesus claiming that he is not at his teammates level. Recovering from injuries, Neymar insisted he is fit and training well. He vowed to prove Jesus wrong and is looking forward to giving his best for the Santos team now.
Ahead of his return from injury, Neymar has expressed disappointment over comments made by his former Al-Hilal coach, Jorge Jesus. Jesus had stated that Neymar was not on the same level as his teammates, which the Brazilian forward strongly disagreed with. Neymar, who has been recovering from multiple injuries, emphasized that he is fit and ready to play.
The star forward acknowledged that while he is not yet at full match fitness, he has been training hard and is eager to prove his doubters wrong. "I don’t have 90 minutes in me yet, as I have been recovering from a serious injury. Then I came back and got injured again. But I am ready to play," Neymar stated to TMW.
Neymar highlighted that during training, he demonstrated he was as fit as his teammates and was disappointed by Jesus’s remarks. "The pitch speaks, and that is where I will prove myself,"he added.
Despite setbacks, Neymar remains determined to make a strong comeback. His return will be crucial for both his club and the Brazilian national team as he looks to regain his top form and silence critics with his performances on the field.
