Sergio Ramos has told Express Sport that he would welcome Paul Pogba to Real Madrid. The Spanish international, while talking to the newspaper, made it clear that the La Liga giants are still interested in Paul Pogba and might make a move for him in the January transfer window or next summer. The Los Blancos were heavily linked with a move for the Frenchman over the summer, but no move ever materialized with Real Madrid struggling to pay Manchester United's asking price.
Ramos, talking about Pogba’s potential move to Real, told Express, “I think Real Madrid always has the door open for good players such as him. For me, Pogba is one of the great players. He is different and he has shown his value at Juventus and now Manchester United. I think he brings balance to a team. He has a great offensive influence and he has this amazing physique.”
Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has not held back this summer, especially after last season’s disappointing campaign, which ended trophyless. It saw the club has spent well over £270million this year, adding players such as Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Ferland Mendy and Eder Militao to the squad. However, Ramos feels that Pogba’s style of play will bring much needed attacking prowess to the Los Blancos, who have won just one of their opening three league games this season.
