Twitter reacts to AB de Villiers' 'mental' innings as RCB score 77 runs in 5 overs

It was raining sixes in Indore as AB de Villiers unleashed the beast and went on to score 58 from his last 18 balls. The Twitterati went berserk after the brilliant innings but Maxwell and co. chased down the target of 149 quite easily as Bangalore lacked the bowling attack to defend the total

Kings XI Punjab secured their second successive win of the IPL by thrashing Royal Challengers Bangalore by 8 wickets with 5 overs to spare. Earlier, AB de Villiers’ late surge of 89 runs helped RCB post a total of 148 runs, but as it turned out, it was not even close to being a competitive score.

Brief scores: Royal Challengers Bangalore 148/4(AB de Villiers 89*, Mandeep Singh 28; Varun Aaron 2/21, Axar Patel 1/21) lost to Kings XI Punjab (Hashim Amla 58*, Glenn Maxwell 43*; Tymal Mills 1/22, Yuzvendra Chahal 1/28) by 8 wickets.

True that!

They just can't get the balance right!

Well said!

Achievement unlocked for Watson!

He had to crack joke, didn't he?

Oh wait.....

And this is supposed to be Kings XI Punjab's home ground!

Mr. 360 indeed!

A tale of 18 balls! :O

Legend indeed!

Sadly, RCB lost!

The probability is too damn high!

What a time to be alive!

AB de Villiers tonight!

Maybe he is Ishant in disguise!

Is this a new record?
