Chris Lynn posted an emotional tweet after picking up the injury while stopping a boundary at the deep region. The Aussie, who was in terrific form hitting a superb half-century in their lung opener, is seemed to miss the next matches of his franchise Kolkata Knight Riders.

The 27-year-old Queenslander who set the IPL 2017 on fire was injured during the match against Mumbai Indians last night. The Kolkata Knight Riders fans were deeply perturbed by the incident and all of the cricket fraternity, too, seem to feel for him.

Lynn injured his shoulder while diving full-length to catch Jos Buttler but failed to gobble that and straight away called for medical attention. This was the third injury to his shoulder in a span of last 18 months. The shoulder had been operated in 2014 and had been dislocated twice in 2015 and 2016.

Following the incident, the Aussie took to twitter to express his helplessness and tweeted," Dear Cricket Gods, did I do something wrong?".

The tweet made every cricket fan feel for the Aussie. Earlier in the first match, Chris Lynn proved his worth and against Gujarat Lions, he scored an unbeaten 93 and led his side to victory. The second match also seemed to start on the same page for the opening batsman as he scored a 24-ball 32 and gave his team the start they needed.
