‌Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from Test cricket on his Instagram handle on Wednesday. The Mumbai batter represented India in 67 Tests, including 24 as the captain of the side, and aggregated 4301 runs at an average of 40.57 with 12 hundreds and 18 fifties to his name. He also led India to their second consecutive WTC final in 2023 and has the second-best win percentage for an Indian Test captain, after Virat Kohli, who has led the country in a minimum of 10 Test matches.
