Karima Gore scalped back to back wickets for SFU against SO in the MLC

American left-arm spinner Karima Gore bowled a game-changing over in the thrilling game against Seattle Orcas, which resulted in two huge dismissals. However, his heroics were not just limited to his bowling capabilities, as his game awareness proved equally crucial to uplift his team.

‌San Francisco Unicorns and Seattle Orcas played out a low-scoring thriller at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Florida. While the Unicorns battled hard to defend the total of 169, their hopes came crashing down thanks to another incredible innings from Shimron Hetmyer, who single-handedly won the game for Seattle with his knock of 78 off 37 deliveries with three balls to spare. However, the San Francisco franchise had the game tilted in their favour for a brief while when Karima Gore delivered two big blows in the 10th over.
On the second ball of his set, opener Shayan Jahangir slammed Gore down the ground but the American was quick to get a fleeting touch on the ball as it rattled into the stumps at the non-striker’s end. Sikandar Raza was thus stranded well outside his crease, sending him packing much to the Unicorns’ elation. However, the double whammy came when the Gore delivered a pinch-point yorker to then sound Jahangir the death rattle and wheeled away in celebration with arms aloft.
This made a massive impact on the game as the Seattle franchise started to struggle at this stage, being 63/4 halfway through their innings. Unfortunately, all it took was a match-winning knock from Hetmyer to completely shift the momentum of the game.

Just Wow!!
