LSG vs MI | Twitter reacts to regretful Boult as lack of appeal cost MI potential early breakthrough

Concentration is quite an important asset when you’re performing in a live event amidst a concentrated crowd. Lack of game awareness was the exact reason that cost the Mumbai Indians the opening breakthrough as Trent Boult and the wicketkeeper failed to appeal for a potential inside edge in Lucknow.
Like their previous game, Hardik Pandya, the Mumbai Indians captain, opted to field first against the Lucknow Super Giants. Eyeing to extract lateral movement off the surface with the new ball, Boult failed to penetrate the opposition batting order as Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh played him cautiously. However, he leaked a four and a six in his next over before a potential wicket went begging due to lack of appeal.
On the last ball of the third over, Boult bowled a fuller than a good length delivery outside the stumps that the right-hander tried to bunt through the line and got beaten, as it seemed. However, the ball kissed the inside edge of the bat en route to Ryan Rickelton, the wicketkeeper. However, none of the batter ot the keeper appealed, causing a reprove for the right-handed batter. When the replays confirmed that there was a faint inside edge off the blade, Boult was left in tatters, causing a Twitterverse uproar.
Missed the oppurtunity!

Good start!
Mitchell Marsh makes it look effortless! Steps out, lofts Trent Boult straight down the ground, and sends it sailing over long off for a massive SIX! Pure class.
