Fierce contests between two units often test the strength and skills of individuals in team sports. In a game of bat versus ball, Nicholas Pooran showed where he belonged in modern T20 cricket by hammering a 147 kph rocket from Mark Wood in the second Super Eight game of the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Seeing the audacious nature of the swashbuckler, West Indies head coach and two-time World Cup winning captain, Daren Sammy was seen awed at the dugout, sending similar vibes across the Twitterverse.
