Pro Kabaddi League Season 12, starting August 29, 2025, will feature Bhojpuri and Haryanvi commentary alongside six existing language feeds. Bhojpuri star Ravi Kishan will lead the Bhojpuri panel. Broadcast partner JioStar introduces innovations like referee cams, dugout views, and split-screen features, enhancing accessibility and fan engagement across kabaddi’s regional heartlands.

As the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) gears up for its 12th season starting August 29, 2025, the tournament is set to expand its reach with Bhojpuri and Haryanvi commentary being added to the broadcast spectrum. With this addition, PKL will now be available in eight languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Marathi. Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan will lead the Bhojpuri commentary team, underlining the league’s attempt to connect with regional audiences in kabaddi heartlands.

JioStar, the league’s exclusive broadcast partner, has introduced these new feeds to strengthen fan engagement and make the sport more relatable at the cultural level. The move mirrors Bhojpuri’s success in cricket coverage and aims to attract kabaddi followers from strong rural and regional bases. Industry experts view this as a major step toward making the league more inclusive and accessible. Season 12 will also bring several broadcast innovations including referee cams, two dugout cameras capturing live sideline reactions, and split-screen features showing live action alongside revival sequences.

These technologies are expected to create a more immersive experience for viewers. PKL’s broader strategy combines regional inclusivity, new competition formats such as play-ins and tie-breakers, and advanced coverage features to establish its position as one of India’s premier sports leagues.
