Juventus has shifted its stance on Andrea Cambiaso, deciding to keep the 25-year-old wingback despite Manchester City’s interest. After recovering from injuries, Cambiaso regained a starting role under coach Igor Tudor. Juventus plans to secure his future with a new contract, building on his current deal valid until 2029 with a €2.4 million yearly salary.

For the upcoming transfer window, Juventus have changed their stance regarding Andrea Cambiaso, who has been linked with a move to Manchester City. The 25-year-old wingback, initially acquired from Genoa in 2022, was loaned to Bologna before returning to Juventus as a key starter under Max Allegri. Despite a strong start this season, his form dipped due to ankle injuries.

In January, Pep Guardiola showed interest in Cambiaso as a potential replacement for Kyle Walker, but no deal was finalized. While Italian media earlier suggested Juventus might sell Cambiaso to fund other signings, the club’s new management, led by General Director Damien Comolli and coach Igor Tudor, now values him highly. Tudor reinstated Cambiaso as a regular starter, appreciating both his technical skills and character.

Although not an immediate priority, Juventus plans to secure Cambiaso’s future with a new contract extension. He currently earns €2.4 million per season under a deal that runs until 2029, with a potential pay raise expected. Other players like Weston McKennie and Federico Gatti are awaiting contract renewals but face delays due to Juventus’ recent managerial changes.
