Arsenal have already spent over £119m on Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, and Christian Norgaard, with Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres set to arrive soon. Sporting director Andrea Berta is now focused on offloading players like Vieira, Zinchenko, Nelson, and Lokonga to balance the books, with Eberechi Eze still a top target.

After the signings of Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, and Christian Norgaard, Arsenal’s summer transfer window has shifted into high gear. Under the direction of new sporting director Andrea Berta, the Gunners have already spent over £70million on the trio, including £5million for Kepa from Chelsea, £55million-plus for Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, and £10million (plus £2million add-ons) for Norgaard from Brentford.

Arsenal are now closing in on a £50million deal for Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, a long-term target who would strengthen their right-wing options. Meanwhile, Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres remains a top priority. Arsenal have agreed personal terms, but the Portuguese club is holding out for around £69million including add-ons. If both Madueke and Gyokeres sign, Arsenal’s total summer spending would exceed £190million.

To balance the books, players like Fabio Vieira, Reiss Nelson, Albert Sambi Lokonga, and Oleksandr Zinchenko, who all had limited roles last season and are expected to be sold. Berta's focus may soon shift to outgoings to recoup funds and make room for further additions. Eberechi Eze also remains on Arteta’s radar, but any move could depend on the successful sale of surplus players. Arsenal’s transfer business signals serious intent ahead of the 2025-26 season.
