After the recent string of underwhelming performances, Manchester United are open to selling goalkeeper Andre Onana in the 2025 summer transfer window for just €23.3 million (£20m), a sharp drop from the €50.2m they paid Inter Milan in 2023. The 29-year-old Cameroonian has faced heavy criticism for costly errors, sparking doubts about his future under incoming manager Ruben Amorim. Despite the speculation, Onana might still remain first-choice if no suitable offers are received.

United’s current Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) for Onana stands at €34.2m, with a range between €30.8m and €37.6m. However, the club seems willing to take a loss if it allows them to refresh their squad. Amorim reportedly prioritizes strengthening outfield positions before making a final decision on the goalkeeper situation. Targets include a striker, a centre-back, at least one wing-back, and two central midfielders.

Several replacements are being considered, including Senne Lammens (Royal Antwerp), James Trafford, Zion Suzuki, Aaron Ramsdale, and Lucas Chevalier. Up front, United are eyeing Victor Osimhen, Liam Delap, and Hugo Ekitike, with Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee possibly exiting after disappointing seasons. Despite Patrick Dorgu’s January arrival, Amorim is still in the market for a new wing-back after missing out on Chelsea-bound Geovany Quenda.
