‌IND vs BAN | Twitter reacts to Bumrah’s genius takes flight as stunned Shadman watches stumps get shattered

Friday nights are well familiar for hitting the dance floors but it’s queer to see one twirl in the morning. The credit goes to the sheer genius of Jasprit Bumrah who produced a terrific setup to leave a leaping Shadman Islam stunned after shooting the stumps on the second day’s morning session.

Eyeing to extend the runs on the board on the back of a gargantuan partnership between Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, India managed to pile up 376 runs with Taskin Ahmed picking three and Hasan Mahmud completing his fifer. In an attempt to curtail the trail, Bangladesh’s start to the second innings was hit by a shrewd play that left Shadman in tatters in the first over itself.

Bumrah kicked off the innings with three outswingers down the leg stump line out of which Shadman managed to get a couple of runs. Right after, a hard length delivery angled across the left-hander beat the outside edge by a whisker outside the off stump. Following it up with the fifth outswinger of the over, Bumrah intended to switch to around the wicket for the last ball of the over. The Gujarat-based pacer pitched the ball at the off stump line and to Shadman’s surprise it didn’t swing outwards and nipped straight to shoot the top of the off stump after beating the outside edge. The southpaw was used to the outswingers from Bumrah and played inside the line unaware of what was coming at him.

The southpaw has a weird trigger moment of leaping while playing his strokes leading to his down fall to one of the greatest bowlers of the generation left the Twitterverse into a frenzy.
