Not a single Indian finds place in Alastair Cook's all-time Test XI

Following the surprising announcement of retiring from Test cricket, Alastair Cook has revealed his all-time Test XI, but interestingly not a single Indian cricketer has found a place in his side. The English opener also mentioned that the team is based on players with or against whom he has played.
The former English captain has picked up his mentor and former English opener Graham Gooch as the captain of his all-time Test team, and also went on to name former Australia batsman Mathew Hayden as the other opener in the side.
“So Goochy is going to be my captain and opening the batting. He can open the batting with Mathew Hayden,” said the 33-year-old in a video released by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The middle-order of his all-time Test XI has some of the modern greats like Brian Lara, Ricky Ponting, AB de Villiers, Kumar Sangakkara and South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis. Cook also mentioned that the players in the middle-order could bat in whichever position they want to.
The bowling line-up included spinners Muttiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne along with Aussie legend Glenn McGrath and of course, Cook's teammate James Anderson.
Among the other major exclusions remain Cook's teammate Kevin Pietersen along with the Indian greats like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sunil Gavaskar, Virender Sehwag and more.
