Hardik Pandya, who came bursting into the scene with Mumbai Indians back in 2015, has stated that it was a dream come true to play for one of the most successful IPL franchises. He also insisted that the presence of so many legends in the squad helps him in learning new things every day.

A young and dynamic Baroda youngster was unearthed by Mumbai Indians three years back in the form of Pandya, who grabbed the opportunity with both hands by some thunderous display in IPL, eventually making his national debut one year later in ODIs and T20IS.

After a slow start to the season this year, Pandya has now managed 242 runs in 13 games, scapling 18 wickets. Prior to the season, there were huge speculation that the all rounder would leave the side, but Mumbai removed all doubt by retaining him before the auctions. Now, ahead of the last league game with the side on the verge of elimination, Panyda has stated that it was his dream to play for MI.

"There so many legends in the team and every day, we get to learn a new thing. So, it is a dream come true for me to play for Mumbai Indians," Pandya said at a promotional event as quoted by CricketNext.

Mumbai Indians have won three IPL titles so far and are currently defending champions. After their usual poor start, they have made a  comeback in the league and now, they need to win their last match over Delhi Daredevils on Sunday to make it to the playoffs.

Mumbai Indians have picked Mahela Jayawardene as their head coach this season, while former New Zealand pacer, Shane Bond has remained as their bowling coach. They have got Robin Singh as their batting coach.
