Cricket has always managed to make us giggle with certain incidents- be it the player's celebrations or the on-field gestures. IPL, too, has witnessed many such incidents and today, Kieron Pollard produced one more that made the people laugh at his sloppiness on the field.
Some funny incidents on the field has always made cricket more entertaining. The IPL is a hub of such moments where the players enjoy their cricket and the audiences enjoy along with them as well. This edition of the league has already featured the most epic fielding performances, but today, it was a bit different as one spectacular effort turned into a laughing riot in an instant.
The incident took place in the 15th over of the Delhi innings when a Krunal Pandya delivery was driven through the covers by Chris Morris. Pollard was in pursuit to save the boundary and even put in a dive before pushing the ball back in play, just centimetres away from the boundary ropes. The home crowd was all fired up with Pollard's effort until they realised that the West Indian's back leg was on the boundary when he threw it back to the keeper. The brilliant effort turned into an epic fail because of his minor sloppiness.
