Feroz Shah Kotla in danger of losing T20 match

After extending the deadline for the DDCA to submit necessary clearances during the last Test between India and South Africa, the Board of Control for Cricket in India is in no mood to wait for the DDCA and is reportedly looking at alternative venues for the match, as per a report in .

With time running out for DDCA, the BCCI has shortlisted Ranchi, Uttar Pradesh and Hyderabad as alternative venues for the match. The BCCI has also asked the DDCA to confirm their availability to host the matches in the ICC 2016 T20 World Cup.

“We have asked the DDCA to send us in writing whether they can host the matches or not. Whether they have received the necessary permission or not so that we can take final call on it soon,” BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur told The Indian Express.

To add to the woes of the DDCA, Justice Mukul Mudgal has refused to clear the bills for expenses during the Test between India and South Africa, which were incurred without his permission. Justice Mudgal was appointed by the Delhi High Court in November to look after the Test between India and South Africa and other matches until March 2016, after allegations of corruption against the board.
