I-League 2024-25: Aizawl FC Defeat Delhi FC with Lalrinzuala’s Brilliant Hat-Trick

Aizawl FC marks a comeback in the I-League, defeating Delhi FC by 4-2 to rank up among the top ten. Lalrinzuala scored a hat-trick for the team, which helped them to secure a crucial win, as Zothanpuia also contributed with a goal.

Aizawl FC and Delhi FC went against each other in the recent match at the I-League 2024-25, where Aizawl was able to dominate the match. With the help of a hat-trick scored by Lalrinzuala, Aizawl FC was able to win the game against Delhi by 4-2, leading to some improvements in the team's standings.

The team had not secured any win for a long-time and that came to an end, with this win against Delhi FC in the I-League. In the first half, the match was at 2-2, with Lalrinzuala scoring a goal in the 20th minute and Zothanpuia scoring a goal in the 43rd minute for Aizawl.

On the other hand, Junior Onguene Nkengue scored a goal in the 10th minute and Rahul Rawat scored a goal in the 23rd minute for Delhi FC. But in the second half, Lalrinzuala was able to dominate, scoring two goals which also marked his hat-trick and allowed Aizawl FC to end their winless streak.

This win also helped Aizawl FC to end up just one rank above Delhi FC in the I-League standings, as the team now holds 10th spot with two wins. On the other hand, Delhi is just behind them with the same points and the difference being if Goals.
