Frank Lampard is eager to sign Rob Holding, the former Arsenal centre-back, in a loan deal with Crystal Palace. Holding did not receive many opportunities to play for Crystal Palace in the Premier League, due to which he has been exiled.

Frank Lampard is already making preparations for the January Transfer Window, as he needs to make the squad of Coventry City even stronger. Recently, it has been reported that Rob Holding has been added to the team's radar after he had been expelled by Crystal Palace a few weeks ago.

He became a part of Crystal Palace after leaving Arsenal and joined the team for the role of centre-back. However, he didn't receive many opportunities to play for the team, which resulted in him not making even a single appearance in the Premier League so far. Due to this reason, he has been exiled during the January Transfer Window.

It was expected that Holding could get a chance to play but everything changed when Oliver Glasner got a chance to play in Crystal Palace's Under-23 team. This further meant that no chances are now available for Rob Holding but despite his less game time over the past 18 months, Frank Lampard still has an interest in the centre-back.

Currently, it is being reported that Frank Lampard wants Rob Holding to drop down to the Championship, which will further help him to restart his career and give it the necessary push. This could take place in the form of a loan deal with Crystal Palace.
