The team lost its previous match against SC Bengaluru by 3-1, where only Saiesh Bagkar was able to score a goal for the team in the first half. It was also the team's first loss in the tournament, as they aim to secure their third win of the season in the match against Sreenidi Deccan.

However, in football, results take precedence over performances. We lost our concentration during critical moments, and that ultimately cost us the game”
