Inter Milan are still keen on a move for Edin Dzeko but negotiations with AS Roma will only go through if the Nerazzurri include Mauro Icardi in a potential deal. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Giallorossi will not do business with their Serie A rivals unless Icardi is included in the transfer deal.
AS Roma are willing to accept €30 million + Dzeko for the Argentina striker, but a deal seems difficult to reach, as Icardi is reportedly waiting for Juventus, with Napoli also in contention. Inter's new boss Antonio Conte already made clear that Icardi is not part of the Nerazzurri's future, and has looked towards Dzeko as the perfect foil for Romelu Lukaku.
But AS Roma's new manager Paulo Fonseca doesn't want to let Edin Dzeko leave without a very good option to replace the Bosnian, which is exactly what they see Icardi as and thus he's seen as a crucial step to get the deal done.
