‌The Rajasthan Royals' bowling unit carried their momentum from the Eliminator game into Qualifier 2 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. The Hyderabad batting lineup struggled as Trent Boult claimed three wickets within the powerplay. Despite a stabilizing effort by Travis Head and Heinrich Klaasen, bringing the score to 96/3 in nine overs, wickets continued to fall. Head's departure in the 10th over marked the beginning of the collapse, with Avesh Khan dismissing Nitish Reddy and Abdul Samad in the 14th over.

On the last ball of the 14th over, the 27-year-old Madhya Pradesh bowler delivered a good-length ball that angled onto the stumps. The line was so precise that Samad failed to read it, remained rooted in his crease and was late in bringing his bat down. The ball sneaked past the inside edge and crashed into the off-stump. The 22-year-old Samad walked back to the pavilion without scoring, while the Royals celebrated with Avesh.

Avesh Khan's splendid delivery sparked celebration on Twitter, with fans and commentators praising his skill.
