However, they suffered a defeat against the Delhi Capitals before heading into a clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad, where the fans were eagerly waiting to see Dhoni.
With the audience split into Orange and Yellow armies ahead of the South Indian derby, Dhoni stepped into the field before the toss, causing the spectators to go bonkers.
