Shakib Al Hasan is currently bearing the leadership responsibilities of the Bangladesh Cricket team and will be leading the team in the tri-nation home series final on Tuesday. Having received the NOC from the Bangladesh Cricket board, Shakib will be leaving for the ongoing Caribbean Premier League the next day.
BCB cricket operation chairman Akram Khan said that they have given the NOC to the star all-rounder, who will be representing Barbados Tridents, to join the ongoing CPL 2019.
"We have given him the NOC to take part in the CPL. We are expecting him to be available before the preparation for the series against India though we are yet to finalize the date of his return," said Akram.
The 32-year-old missed the last edition of CPL due to an injury and was replaced by Steve Smith, who was serving an international ban at that time.
The Bangladesh cricket team will tour India in November and play three T20I and two Test match fixtures.
