Former India captain Sourav Ganguly turned 47 today and wishes poured in from all around the world. The entire cricketing fraternity wished him on Twitter and those who played under his leadership shared the impact he had on their careers and shared their most cherished moments on Dada's birthday.

Sourav Ganguly is one of the most iconic personalities of Indian cricket and also one of the finest captains to lead India. Ganguly was handed over the captaincy in the year 2000, when Indian Cricket was going through a period of confusion and disorder. Sourav Ganguly had changed the face of Indian cricket with his unparalleled leadership and aggressive approach to the game. With 11,363 runs in 311 ODIs, Ganguly is currently the third highest run-scorer for India in the 50-over-format. He is also known as the God of off-side for his impeccable skills to play shots on off. On his 47 birthday, entire cricket fraternity reacted on Twitter with wonderful memories with him.
