Mitchell Johnson claims that the pacer -friendly wicket in Dharamsala will suit the Australians more and India will lose the fourth and final Test on account of being nervous, following Australia’s effort to draw the third Test. Johnson also feels that India were overconfident in the beginning.

Johnson has taken a potshot at the Indian team saying that Virat Kohli and his boys will be ‘nervous’ owing to the pacer-friendly conditions of the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala. The picture-perfect stadium in Himachal Pradesh is all set to host its first Test match, with the four-match series currently locked at 1-1.

However, in the three matches played in the series so far, sledging and controversies have hogged the limelight, just as much as the cricket played. And now, Johnson has added to the list of talking points by claiming that the Indian team were overconfident going into the series and will be on the back foot, ahead of the final Test.

Speaking to Fox Sports, Johnson said, "Dharamsala is an amazing ground and the only times I have seen it are with grass on (the pitch). So I think that's why the Australians will probably be confident and India will be a little bit nervous. I think they've been overconfident in this series and I think the scoreline shows that."

Johnson has also scoffed at India saying that their inability to win the Ranchi Test has shifted momentum in Australia’s favor. "(The result in Ranchi) gives Australia a huge advantage I think. For them (India) to know that it's not about Steve Smith and David Warner, other guys in the team can perform and can play out for a draw. They dug in and played exceptional cricket. They (Australia) will be pumped after that. Even though it was only a draw, to them it will feel very good and very positive. Because they have collapsed a lot in the past. That's why I'm confident Australia will win."

Despite his retirement from the game, Johnson continued his verbal exchange with Virat Kohli, just as he did during India's tour Down Under in 2014. Having earlier claimed that Kohli is frustrated with his lack of form, before the Ranchi Test, Johnson suggests that’s the reason Kohli has been ‘talking a lot during the ongoing series. "He's (Virat Kohli) obviously quite passionate, but I just think he's frustrated because he hasn't scored a run and he's letting his emotions get the better of him. You could sense the vibe change halfway through the match and it coincided with India getting ahead in the game.” Johnson wrote this in a blog for foxsports.com.au, before the third Test.
