MS Dhoni did not charge 40 Crs for the movie, says Neeraj Pandey

Previous reports suggested that the India's limited overs captain MS Dhoni had demanded an amount of 40 crores  to sell the rights of his life story to the producers. However, the director of the movie Neeraj Pandey on Sunday, has said that no studio would cough up so much money just to attain the rights of a cricketer’s story.

Pandey also stated that the very idea of paying a cricketer such astronomical amounts of money strains credulity, reported Times of India. 

MS Dhoni: The untold Story has been made with an expense of 80 Crores, is believed to do well at the box office. Arun Pandey, Dhoni’s manager, and one the producer of the movie had told the Indian Express in an exclusive interview that Dhoni is not at all worried about the box office numbers as he seems confident that the film will do well.

The biopic will release on 30th September with Sushant Singh Rajput who will be playing MS Dhoni in the movie.
