Indian team take Mannequin Challenge to wish Merry Christmas

Indian Cricket team has taken the "Mannequin Challenge" to celebrate the series victory over England and the numero Uno status in the latest ICC Test rankings. It is a challenge in which people make them freeze for a minute or more in elaborate poses and scenarios.

Mannequin Challenge has been doing rounds in social networking sites of late, in which people make themselves freeze for a moment. As a latest entrant to the trend, Indian team took the challenge to wish the fans Merry Christmas.

Earlier, the Star Sports commentary team took the Mannequin Challenge during the first Test match between India and England in Rajkot. In a behind-the-scenes video, Sanjay Manjrekar, Aakash Chopra, Kapil Dev, Mike Atherton, Ian Botham and others posed in the commentary box. 

After registering a convincing 4-0 series victory over the Englishmen, the BCCI posted a video, in which Virat Kohli was seen kissing the Anthony D’Mello trophy whereas Ravindra Jadeja and Umesh Yadav standing together in the dressing room like a statue. Ishant Sharma, who made a comeback to the playing eleven after his marriage, was posing while pointing at his other teammates. Cheteshwar Pujara- the good man that he is- was seen practising a stroke while Murali Vijay posed with a solid defensive position. 

Karnataka batsman Manish Pandey, who made it to the Test team for the first time in his career, was seen exchanging a bat with his Karnataka teammate Karun Nair, who struck a mind-boggling triple-century at Chepa

The video also has posture-like positions of the coaches and support staff of the Indian cricket team. 

In the end, the entire team wished the fans a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance.
