While the Indian Premier League might be mostly about glitz and glamour, at least on the face of it, the sales pitch of the league during its inception was that it would provide a platform for the unknown domestic players to shine. Over the years, a lot of young talents have staked their claim for a place in the national squad through the IPL, although very few have actually gone on to establish themselves in the senior squad solely based on their performances in this competition. From the likes of Sanju Samson, to Naman Ojha, to KL Rahul, to Sarfaraz Khan – nearly every season, the IPL has thrown up a new name or two.
But, looking back, which IPL franchise has contributed the most to the Indian team in terms of players? The Redditors of the r/Cricket community came together to give their views.
